How to Cut Key after Changing Cutter by Xhorse Dolphin XP005?
Question:
If a cutter breaks on a Dolphin XP005, is there a way to continue cutting the key after changing the cutter? It seems it would be problematic because the probe would no longer see it as an uncut key.
Answer 1:
The only way is to put a blank in and after it indexes the key pause it and switch it out.
Answer 2:
There is an option to only make certain cuts on the key. Used for progression.
Customer’s feedback:
Yep. I had my dolphin run out of battery in the middle of a cut, you have to put a blank inlet it measures it or proves it then remove the blank and put your semi cut key back in.
